Welcome, Visitors! Welcome. We're glad to have you join us. SERVICES Zion offers two distinct styles of worship on Sunday mornings. The 8:00 a.m. service follows a traditional format, while the 10:30 a.m. service features contemporary music led by the Worship
Team. Both are Christ-centered. MEMBER-GUEST CARDS As you enter church, you will be given the printed order of service, the current bulletin, and a member/guest card. One side of the card is for members, the other is for guests. Please complete the card and pass it to the center aisle. The ushers will gather them after the offerings are brought to the altar. RESTROOMS Restrooms are located in the lower level. The women's is straight back in the lounge area; the men's is off the hallway to the church basement. HOLY COMMUNION All confirmed members of Lutheran Church Missouri Synod congregations are welcome to commune with us. Other guests are asked to please speak with the Pastor before communion. Non-alcoholic white wine is available in the center portion of each communion tray, for those who are not able to have alcohol. INCLUDING CHILDREN IN WORSHIP Young children experience worship in the same way as they experience the rest of life with their senses. "Worship Bags" for toddlers are available to help you share the worship experience with your child. They're located at the balcony stairs. Pick one up before the service, and please return it when the service is over. Parents, In worship, we tell and retell in ritual and song the story of salvation. We establish our identity as part of God's family, finding our place in the long history of people of which we and our children have become a part through Baptism. To gather for this important activity is both our duty and our delight! We are pleased to welcome you to worship as a FAMILY! From experience, we know that there are great benefits for a family that shares a time of worship together, both at home and in church. Your conversation with your child will help them to understand the importance and "special-ness" of the worship experience. Through your words and actions and attitude, your child will sense that worship is a joyful opportunity and an event for which they, too, can look forward to and participate in. God bless our worship together, as His Children, as His Family! |
