PTL (Parent-Teacher League)

The purpose of the PTL is to encourage and foster harmony between church, school, and home so that we may bring up our children in a God-fearing and God-loving way.

To achieve this purpose, the league will develop a program which includes fellowship events, fundraising activities, support for teachers and families, and parenting topics.

Parents of all children attending Zion Lutheran School shall be considered members of Zion PTL.

The responsibility of members shall include:

• pray for the school and faculty
• support the purpose of the PTL
• attendance at all meetings
• participation in PTL activities and events

PTL meets the third Sunday of every month during the school year except for December. Business meetings are in October, January, and April, during which time fundraisers are discussed and organized.

In September, November, February, and March, there are selected topics, guest speakers, or family fun activities. In May is the Zion Family Banquet.
